SUMMARY:User Engagement and Behavioural Change Special Interest Group
DESCRIPTION:\nThe next meeting of our User Engagement and Behavioural Change SIG.\nDate: Thursday 8 September  Time: 1000 – 1130\n\n\n\nAbout this event\n\n\n\nIn this meeting we will be joined by:\n– Steve Broadley, Lead, United Kingdom and Ireland, FAIRTIQ\n– Richard Kirk, CEO, BetterPoints\nBackground\nThe development of MaaS is regularly discussed in terms of technical challenges or the relentless quest to find commercially viable business models for its delivery. However, while this is understandable, these conversations all too often neglect the ultimate measurement of success – user adoption.\nIn order to realise the many benefits of MaaS and drive the positive change we all believe it could bring, we must ensure that the user and other stakeholders are brought with us on the journey, ready to engage with solutions as they appear in our cities and rural areas. This requires a thorough understanding of the various stakeholders – what drives decision making and what are the expectations of a successful mobility solution?\nThis group will explore areas such as:\n• Bottom up approaches to MaaS delivery\n• User centred design and marketing and promotional tools towards success\n• Alignment with broader societal goals\nNOTE: Places within these meetings will be limited and priority will be given to MaaS Scotland members. If you are interested in becoming a member of MaaS Scotland then please get in touch with alastair.mcinroy@technologyscotland.scot ( mailto:alastair.mcinroy@technologyscotland.scot )\n\n\n\n\n
